Cariad Silver Dichroic Glass Necklace

This handmade Cariad silver dichroic glass necklace is inspired by my love of living in Wales and the beauty of the Welsh language. “Cariad” is a Welsh word meaning love, and this collection celebrates the connection between love, place and handcrafted jewellery.

This unique glass heart necklace features vibrant multicoloured dichroic glass with the surface left bare to showcase its incredible metallic sheen. Dichroic glass reflects the light beautifully, revealing rich flashes of colour and creating a striking iridescent finish that changes as it moves.

To complement the colourful glass, I have handcrafted a small sterling silver heart from 99% silver clay and carefully attached it to the pendant. The combination of shimmering dichroic glass and the handmade silver heart creates a meaningful piece of jewellery with both colour and sentiment.

Each pendant is individually handcrafted, with every piece of glass and silver detail created by hand, making each necklace completely unique.

The pendant is finished with a silver plated bail and supplied with a silver chain, making it ready to wear or gift.
