Cariad Rainbow Silver Dichroic Glass Necklace

This handmade Cariad rainbow silver dichroic glass necklace is inspired by my love of living in Wales and the beautiful meaning behind the Welsh word “Cariad”, which means love. This collection celebrates the connection between language, place and jewellery created with care by hand.

This unique glass heart necklace features vibrant rainbow dichroic glass with the surface left bare to showcase its incredible metallic sheen. The glass reflects the light beautifully, revealing shifting colours and a stunning iridescent finish that changes as the pendant moves.

To complement the colourful dichroic glass, I have handcrafted a small sterling silver heart from 99% silver clay and carefully attached it to the pendant. The combination of the shimmering rainbow glass and handmade silver detail creates a meaningful piece of jewellery with a beautiful balance of colour, texture and sentiment.

Each pendant is individually handcrafted, with the glass carefully prepared and the silver heart created by hand, making every necklace a unique piece of wearable art.

The pendant is finished with a silver plated bail and supplied with a silver chain, making it ready to wear or gift.
